Official GRE Scores
Posted by Greg in Grad School on October 16, 2006
I got my official GRE score report a few days back, I forgot to post it.
| Section | Score | Max Score | % Below |
|---|---|---|---|
| Verbal | 700 | 800 | 97% |
| Quantitative | 750 | 800 | 82% |
| Analytical Writing | 5.0 | 6.0 | 71% |
I’m happily surprised with the %tile for my verbal, though I’d actually hoped my score would be slightly higher. In the same vein, I’m happy with the scores for the other sections, but not as happy with the %tile.
Overall, however, respectable scores. Now I need to take the GRE Exam in Computer Science, and get my letters of Recommendation, and fill out the applications.
Do you know the contents of your wallet?

Specifically, if it was lost tomorrow, would you know what companies you needed to call, and what the phone numbers were? Until about 5 minutes ago, I’d have said no. But, I ran across Suffering the “lost wallet syndrome” on The Happiness Project on Friday, and made a note for myself to take care of it this weekend. And I just did.

In other news, I took the GREs yesterday. Got a pretty good score: 700 Math, 740 (or 750, I can’t remember) Verbal. One step further on the road to grad school! (I don’t know my essay scores yet, though.)
